Bariloche
Day Trips
By Carlye Goldman, July 2019.
After
you’ve worked hard taking Spanish lessons in Bariloche, and you are looking for
more activities and places to explore, you can take a well-deserved day trip to
see more of Patagonia, Argentina. There are a variety places you can explore
and continue to practice your Spanish while doing so.
To
begin, a trip worth taking during any time of the year, but you’ll experience a
Narnia-like feel if you go in the winter is Cerro Tronador. Tronador is
Bariloche’s tallest mountain, and gets its name from the sound breaking ice
glaciers make. This black-glacier is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking
views you will witness, and is the perfect day trip to take after you finish
your Spanish course week(s).
